VARTA® Powersports Batteries for Motorcycles

VARTA® offers three different types of batteries for your motorcycle: Powersports AGM, Powersports Freshpack and Powersports Gel. Powersports AGM is maintenance-free and doesn’t need a topping up; it delivers maximum power, even in extreme conditions. Powersports Freshpack has a perfectly reliable starting power in hot and cold weather; it withstands vibration whether you’re powering along rough trails or across snow. Powersports Gel is ideal for touring bikes with extra features such as anti-lock brakes; it also is maintenance-free plus all battery acid is safely suspended in a gel so there’s no need to top it up.

Cold Cranking Amps (CCA)

Cold Cranking amps is the number of amperes a lead acid battery at 0°F (-17.8°C) can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell.

Reserve Capacity (RC)

Reserve capacity represents the time the battery will continue to operate essential accessories if the alternator or generator of a vehicle fails.

AGM for Motorcycles
